I personally didn't like it because you have to do everything yourself everyday - go buy all the products in Costco or other huge stores, looking for discounts and promotions to get a better price (because most of the profit in vending comes from a very cheap prices when you buy bulk).

So there would be no more or less risk than choosing a syndication, and you do the due diligence in the same way.The big thing with DST’s is that on the plus side they generally do not charge a promote/carry because they are prohibited by SEC rules.
