I think that there are 3 reasons why Financial Planners aren't able to handle this:1.

If I put all of my eggs in one basket (Florida in this case), paid off property and a hurricane blows everything away, FEMA is nowhere to be found and the insurance companies take years to pay what little claims they actually do pay, I suffer through it in a blown out house.

This event was put together to get local investors together to talk strategy, share resources and help each other get/make deals!

This had nothing to do with economic or underwriting issues but was driven by covid and many workers beginning to work from home. 

We ended up going back to the tried and true Excel Spreadsheet.

The fact is, newbies or scammers are not the only ones that go to meetups and networking groups.

I have a point for ponderance in this model.
