As I've played around w/creating a business website, I found myself wanting to publish two sites: one for motivated sellers, and one for potential investors (private money folks).I wonder how you all tackle this idea, that there are multiple facets to our business, and the message we have for one group is not appropriate for the others.

I do hope every portal publishes results as deals mature....With respect to the actual calculations, when I dug deeper into the numbers I got a better understanding of why the wide deviation in Target Returns from deal-to-deal and why those Target Returns seem too high for my comfort level (if it is too good to be true....).

@Louise Whidby many of the counties list them on their website; they are also published in the newspapers in other areas; and you can go to the county clerks office as well.

@Matt Clark also the Mills usually have a log buyer.. and they usually publish there rate sheet.IE by grade sort and per MBF... although I am not sure on HW territory but that's how it works out here.And in the good ole days they would pre pay for the timber..
