Every one of those studies I've seen were paid for by NAR or an affiliate, so they're not exactly objective.Prepare to go for at least 3 months (probably much more) without a paycheck.

The market is much softer than the NAR, bankrate, etc bias to keep us from panicking headlines would lead you to believe. 

The exam prep course is inexpensive, but you also have to pay to take the exam, join your local board, join the NAR (if required by your brokerage), etc.

I'm leaning towards on-boarding as a referral agent - no corporate dues and no dues to NAR.

Last with all the money paid to the NAR I'm disappointed the lawyers could not defend what the NAR claimed was a frivolous lawsuit.
