If the drainfield can be jetted that would solve that problem for a while.Also pumping out the tank every 2 to 3 years would be a good practice.  

A snake or jet would just make a little hole and that would fill in again within a few weeks.

but what the heck... can't take it with ya That sounds pretty cheap compared with operating a jet at $6000/hr. ;)

We ended up having the plumbing service come out and hydrojet the main lines and the guest room lines.

I could buy a brand new jet ski with a warranty for less than $300/month.

And when you decide you will invest in a property in that location, you will hire a property management company to bring you your cash flow whilst saving you trips and jet lag and money.

Good point....we are a stones throw from one of the largest & most efficient hydro-electric plants/generators BUT most of it belongs to Canada or is sent south & we do not have any appreciable price advantage.
