They eventually sent one out who visited the property, told the tenant that she would have to buy a bunch of parts, then charged my tenant $50 for visiting, but never submitted an estimate.

I accept them and mitigate the risk by (a) screening the animals, (b) having a solid set of rules that are quickly and fairly enforced, (c) regular inspections, especially for cat units, and (d) charging a monthly pet fee.Let's say I have five single-family homes.

Sure, some absolutely have benefited, S.Korea is a fair example BUT, one can argue it would just be "Korea" today if only MacArthur wasn't planning a run for President there after and ignored Chinas warning and offer of peace to stop with all but total victory, instead pushing to Chinese border, pulling them into it and literally loosing the entire north....

I have been with Fundrise since late 2017 but all Real Estate equity (~75%) and debt (~25%) with a fairly small investment that, according to their calculations, has returned gross ~7.5%pa (growth + dividends) over that 7 year period.So the above is not bad based on general risky asset long term annual returns, but the S&P 500 has returned (growth+ dividends reinvested) ~14.3% pa over that same period (source: using https://ofdollarsanddata.com/sp500-calculator/).

Hello,A job relocation to San Francisco CA early this year is making me ponder if I should be selling my owner occupied duplex in Jersey City and buy something in Berkeley CA due to its proximity to San Francisco and has some fairly decent schools for my kids and also UC Berkeley .The low 2.5% interest rate on the Jersey City property turned into a golden chain but I think I am done with managing tenants and property and would like to get more into an Equity play.

So some grey area on what you may find reasonable and what perhaps some hopeful tenants find reasonable and be sure to not violate any fair housing law in setting occupancy standards, but I generally think most renters are reasonable on if 3 adults, they are looking for a 2 or 3 bed rental and not a studio.
