I have been listening to podcast, watching webinars, and reading blogs here for about 3 months now and have decided to start becoming active on the forums.I am looking to invest in small multifamilies with 2-10 units  in VA, MD , WVA (close to NoVa) , NC , and DC areas.

Hi @Chris Seveney welcome, I have been lurking on BP for a while and I am in the process of changing my model from solely NOVA to adding Indianapolis IN area.  

Thinking of becoming a real estate agent in the NOVA/DC area.

I could write a book on HOA's as I dealt with a situation in NOVA about HOA's.

What schools do people prefer in NoVa?

Hi Mike, I've been doing non-real estate photography as a hobby for several years now (I have a 9 to 5 in NOVA), but if you want sent me a message and I will give you a link to some of my work. 

The NoVA area is not a place I can afford to be a Real Estate Investor at this time.

. - Work (Data Center construction) just moved my family down to the NOVA area and am curious if you ever had any success in getting a group of individuals together to talk shop, etc.?

That said, it's more difficult to find viable income opportunities here due to higher prices (unless you look into the "outer" areas of NoVA.)
