Nothing significant jumps out to me but a buyer seeing how high he started and how much the price has dropped they may just think if they wait a little longer it would be a price that would allow the new buyer to make some changes to interior decor to match their preferences. 

Since this will be a short-term rental I will be decorating, furnishing, and getting it ready for guests to maximize cash-flow.

But you're right, good decor, layout, and photos will make or break your STR so sometimes you just gotta spend more money to make it work
