Assuming you are independently wealthy, go for it.

@Vincent Crane - I am with you, It's hard to beat LA's culture and weather but I don't necessarily see myself living here forever.

I grew up in a nice  middle class area but it was near a very wealthy area.  

Perhaps look to invest with others in a JV first and learn the ropes, so to speak.Creating wealth is not just about choosing which property, or properties to buy.

Hey everyone, I just read the blog that Brandon Turner wrote called 5 Habits of the Wealthy That Help them get Rich and in there one of the books he advises using is The 10x Daily Planer so I am wondering if any one has/is using it and would recommend it?

I am not worried about vacancy because I will own house free and clear, we used to lived in Willingboro so have a feel for area and culture.

San Diego makes sense because of the low inventory available and the house lusting California culture.

This business, that you're sick of, has made a lot of people wealthy.
