I would do the same thing when your the lender and providing the majority or 90% of he capital you have to protect it.. these become contentious though when they don't work out the way YOU the borrower said they would.. is normally what happens.. so just like any HML they get first money out.. every single lender on the planet does that.. so if their is a short fall its on you.Now on the dark web stuff I don't believe that for a second I know John personally and I am not sticking up for him or his company or his model.
