If an expert doesn’t weigh in and you aren’t excited about paying someone else to list it I would certainly get an official opinion by your CPA but even that isn’t a guarantee.

The property tax cannot increase more than his even if the property value increases 5 times (I have properties that have increased 500% that have property tax based on values that are less than 1/3 of their current value).As for a jurisdiction mandating converting a JADU back to SFR upon owner move out I believe this is outside the jurisdiction’s authority.  

If you invest in an area with local officials who think criminals are victims of society, you can't expect much help from the government.

There is nothing that I know of in the statutes that specifically supports or authorizes it.

You agree, generally, on the work needed to complete each quarter, and then someone comes out to see if it's done before the next draw is authorized.
