Your honesty is admirable.

I don't do resi in Portland, but we're the same situation and I don't get it since Austin has a better job/tax outlook (for now).I admire your restraint, but what's your plan, raise more money, wait, ...? 

I admire the people that can do it remotely. 

I think it is absolutely admirable that you want to dive into this, and I'm all for it, but there are practical steps that need to be taken first.
