Multiple thefts and numerous police calls involving suspected drugs led me to believe this property would be a nightmare to manage and keep a tenant otherwise it would have been a fantastic keeper.

The benefit of this is that if the police catch anyone there that shouldn't be they can arrest them on the spot.Also if the tenants aren't paying and they let the utilities get cut off you can get code enforcement to set the people out in 24 hours because the house is not habitable without utilities.

It would be difficult for us to wall it off since the stairwell descends to the back wall where all the fuse boxes and water heater are and then you step left off of a landing...but we could install some sort of security accordion door that could be pushed against one wall like this: https://www.foldingdoorsandroo....
