An LLC is useful for two things: anonymity and legal protection.

Otherwise it would have to be an equity loan.The problem with multiple layers of anonymity (trust paperwork in a drawer) is it can be hard to prove who owns what to the lender.   

I have never contacted the police as I do not want to make myself a target of their discontent, which is why I would like to remain anonymous in this matter.

Time is the more valuable asset.I for one will take wealthy & anonymous over rich & famous any day :)

So as my business grows inevitably due to offsetting taxes and giving back I am looking at various forms of charity.Some businesses give to many causes anonymously and others give open in the public.

Just a touch of anonymity which I liked.Sure, a quick google search would have shown the owner of the company shared a first name with me but such is life :)

Additional scrutiny is unavoidable because of the ability for anyone (even anonymously) to lodge a complaint with the state's regulating department, and the allegation will be investigated.

It would seem that collecting that information would be a great addition to the information BP provides (imagine an anonymized  database of properties and their repair and rental history over the years).

I will probably try to do it as anonymously as possible if I call for the reasons you mentioned.Appreciate your thoughts!
