If there are no studios, I’d be a little wary unless you know for sure your demographic will be solo travelers, couples, or people working remotely.

I agree that's true but kind of a mute point imo... if you're concerned with the pex leaching chemicals then you should be concerned with the piping that city water travels in before reaching your pex lines and the quality of the city tap water in general.... as well as anything you drink that's bottled and any food that's bagged in plastic even those labelled as food safe which have been shown to leach chemicals.

Purchased with plan to live in permanently, put it as a STVR while traveling in our RV during the pandemic, and it did so well as a STVR that we decided to keep it as a rental and buy another cabin in Yosemite as our primary residence.

And if you're truly serious about purchasing real estate in Ohio it would be a good idea to take a trip out there to learn the cities and neighborhoods, visit them at night, see if it's a good fit for you I guess you didn’t read the part where I said I couldn’t travel, can you please enlighten me where in Florida can you find affordable homes as in Akron?
