Conceptually I think I understand the process/procedure. 1.

If they don't corporate then you need to get a judgement and start proper collection procedures.  

These procedures usually take many months of non payment to get to this point so keep that in mind moving forward as you don't want to be sucked down in the whirlpool created by the sinking ship.

I attempted going up the chain with customer service (obviously not USA based) and was informed they were adhering to their policies and procedures.

If servicer didn't follow timelines (I've seen heirs sue servicer in 2021 due to lack of procedure) they might win in court.

 State law dictates procedures. 

You must follow the eviction procedures for your local parish/court.

The procedural issue they are now arguing should have been raised before the sale was ratified, IMO.
