If you are single or a couple on the same page about house hacking, look for uneven multis.

Are you planning to house hack, or are you exploring other strategies?

When I tried selling that house in 2014 there was just not enough users, 2018 maybe a lot easier to do.

@Jason Lopez You don’t need an LLC to rent out a house in San Antonio, TX, but it can provide liability protection by separating your personal assets from your rental property.

This is partly due to the fact that the sec8 housing authority I usually work with is "tougher", but they compensate proper. 

Because I had already purchased  the house building courses I got a nice  discount  on thw course I wanted. 

Funny you mentioned a $600K house doesn’t pencil out as a rental.

I've been living in my current house hack for ~1.5, and I placed my tenants in September 2023 (lease is up at the end of August).
