I was thinking of an area that is popular in summer and winter.Alternatively, I was thinking of a summer/winter home somewhere in New England, that would generate enough to help off-set the cost of travel.We have about 150k in home equity and 25k in cash, although we can maybe come up with more (10-15k) in the coming months.

We were stationed in England at the time, and I hadn't figured out how to buy at a distance.  

I only have a few doors but water damage in all, in past 4 years, of various sources as well, all in New England.

As the subject states I am finally jumping into real estate in the Southern New England area!

If you own in the New England area, what other damage coverage do you cover for besides flood damage?

I've worked with some of KW senior legal team ( in New England) and feel fairly sure the procuring cause would be a weak claim on this.
