Fyi, after my research on about a half a dozen property management companies I ended up engaging with Spinnaker in Tacoma mainly due to the fact that they don't provide any brokerage services just pure property management.

I would rather own a home in Class A area for 20 years over Class C and can probably with high confidence say that you will be in a much better spot later in life with Class A vs.

We often see it when a duplex hits the market with 15-year-old rents, buyers really struggle to run numbers with confidence.

Do not engage with those clowns.

I am sure you did not mean to come off that way but thats the way I kind of took it .. you may want to rephrase add a little more to it.. so people will engage

Also if you read David Greene's book "Long Distance Real Estate Investing" if you will be of great help and give you the confidence you need.

If you really want an answer you can confidently rely on you'll need to engage an attorney practicing in the state the property is located in and the state of residence of your grandparents and have him research the specific facts of the case.  

This showed me their confidence in their abilities and really respect them for putting their own capital to see it through.  

It’s exciting and nerve racking but once you get your first deal done you’re confidence and skills will grow and you’ll be well on your way.
