I must have looked at 30 plus properties and whenever I had a chance to see an occupied unit, the best kept units consistently seemed to be inhabited by Section 8 tenants.

Making it a job would make it a lot more complicated when you’re really supposed to be defeating that big elephant on you that’s named “Going Civilian.” 

@Giovanni Luna the first thing I would say is to ignore your rank.I know it may seem like a limitation to some extent right now, but rest assured that in the civilian world NO ONE cares much about rank. 

Truthfully with an issue with so many social and economic complexities there is no clear cut answer but I do believe that we all should be trying to leave the a positive mark on wherever we inhabit or do business.

Midwest City is a little more affordable & is a higher renter market, Tinker Air Force Base is right there providing many jobs to both military and civilians with the highway close by providing quick access into the city. 

If faced with this nature of contamination again, we would plan a full gut of the property (and make our offer accordingly), especially in light of some recent studies showing that painting / resurfacing only contains the toxins for a time and they eventually make there way back to the surface where they are absorbed by the new inhabitants ... especially small children.

At the trial, the tenant claimed the house was inhabitable due to damages thru out the house. 

The work ethic most vets have puts them far above the rest of us lazy civilians.
