Hii I am a first time investor trying to understand if Austin is a good market to buy a SFH and rent.

However while people in Windsor doesn't have the luxury of high paying jobs that GTA residents have, is it just a temporary fever of buying houses, or there is really something going on in this city ?

If you aren't going to set up the LLC correctly, for asset protection structuring, you might as well buy it in your personal name.

I will add that to your question of 10% or 20%, you need to ask yourself whether you need the cashflow or not. 10% down would leave some money with which to buy more properties.

I live in Ocala and have never heard of this company, but that doesn't mean anything since I prefer to buy already built properties and rehab them. 

So, many people choose to operate in their own personal name but buy an additional umbrella policy to protect themselves from liability.
