Any guidance on other resources I can read/learn from would be great.I noticed just from browsing the forums for a few days that people often mention finding a mentor.

Should I talk to brokers, browse Craigslist, search Loopnet, or all of the above?

I'm sure you can browse expired listings and find motivated sellers, but we do this in parallel with a full time job, so there's no time to make cold calls and create custom mail lists.  

Came across this gem while browsing foreclosures in Houston.

Looks like Google Maps with an interface that is crappy at best . . . you can get the same at Maps.Google.com, and when I type an address at a normal speed, it works.

There are only 2 dots on the map, but then I click on "browse alphabetically" and it shows all 138 lenders.

I really like the interface and it auto loads my accounts and shows progression graphs.
