If the nest has babies, the answer is do nothing.

If you rent to a couple with no kids and they have a baby, you are then required to delead the unit with the added expense of putting the tenants up in a hotel during the process.

I bought the house in a mad scramble before our baby was born because we were living in a tiny condo which wasn’t big enough for our new addition.

Currently I'm happy in my house for now and would like to find a 2-4 family to completely rent out; I'm not a fan of moving and neither is my girlfriend 😂 my next primary residence I'm planning to buy around 6-8 years from now (I'm playing the long game baby!).

I just know it will all have been worth it when this baby starts cash-flowing.

And I reminded myself that this had been on my bucket list for a very long time, and how great it was going to feel to cross that baby off!
