Do take caution about doing any questionable Real Estate transaction, many properties in Mexico are tied in legal issues and most of them take years to resolve....do look for an Attorney who specializes in Real Estate Transactions.Stuart Tible will assist anyone in the purchase of property in Mexico...it will cost you a little bit more.....but you you will have peace of mind knwoing that your transaction is 100% secured.Perhaps you've heard horror stories about the Mexican government taking away property that people bought many years ago....built a house on the property....but only to have it taken away by not following all the safety issues mentioned above....yes...it is true.... people bought property without making sure that the person who was selling them the property were the real owners......

If you install a second peace of plywood or particle board on top of the first one.angle it out and then cover the surface with lino etc as instructed any water leakage will run out and the tenant will become aware that the sink is leaking before the cabinet rots.

When I buy a house at a trustee foreclosure auction and the previous owners are still in the house, do I need to hire a lawyer to evict them or can I, as the new owner, just show up at the justice of the peace on the court date with a copy of the trustee's deed, or do I need other documentation?

@Brian Mathews I hear ya my point is so many folks pass away from HA and end stage cancer ( Hospice) that there is no way to know if someone has passed in a home.I know personally my father, father in law and mother in law, plus many other family members passed away peacefully at home with their loving family at their sides.
