Is it book keeping or something else entirely? 

I use Stessa for bookkeeping but really need to get away from my personal VENMO and start collecting through one of these other platforms - looked into Rent Redi, Avail, and Apartments.com....all seem to have their pros and cons.

He charges me hourly for bookkeeping.

This particular "student" uses my spreadsheet which does budget for outside bookkeeping per property ($50 / month + tax prep) and 1 eviction per year, which ideally would not happen.  

A background in accounting and financial management will definitely help on the number crunching and bookkeeping aspects of the business.Glad to have you here!
