Vegas has been nothing near a smooth ride and even with the major push from the former Zappos CEO many of the startups he bought in seem to not be doing very well.

Just watch those numbers close, cause you don't want to end up like the fools in 2006 who thought the ride would go on and on.  

It sure is interesting, don't know if we will find out any other details.I guess we are just happy our offer was legitimate and accepted.Roller Coaster Ride was no extra charge.But honestly, it makes things difficult if you are doing what you can to obtain housing and your offers aren't properly considered, we had no idea what was going to happen the second time around. 

This is exactly my plan and hopefully 6 years from now, ill be able to post on here and be one of the ones riding out 10 years plus!

It's a ferry ride away from Seattle, so I assume its location precludes many of the repairmen that would be used in the Seattle area.  

Also, I would ride by the area at different times of the day/night to see what kind of people live there.

I have also seen how the guy lived , I ride by his house weekly , you notice his yard , not for how nice it looks , but for the collection of "stuff".

Everyone knows that cash is king, and it is undeniable that these small chinese shops popping up is killing the market, but they need cash before they "order" the items from china, how do you beat that or how do you mitigate that or better yet, how do you ride with the flow?

I'm not that big on traveling (I don't like long plane/car rides) however I did recently take a 10-day vacation out to CA in December (which was a nice change of pace from the WI winter!).
