This is pretty much how banks do things too - the idea is that not only do you have to afford your rent - but also your electric, your food, your car, your insurance, your gas, internet, etc.  

You may be even selling some of these smaller assets and roll the equity into the bigger dealsThese small deals can make an investor incredibly wealthy, especially if the equity is owned by a few investors.

The Internet, social media, will repeat information. 

I would go with someone local, someone you know, someone who is honest and trustworthy, someone who knows what they are doing, rather than a big name you saw on the internet. 

It's also incredibly expensive and hard to make anything cash flow.

I don’t expect to be someone that finds incredibly cheap deals that become worth double what I paid.

And anything within a block or so of the ocean is going to take an incredible beating from the winter weather salt air etc etc.. and then you have the Tsunami that is coming with teh massive earth quake that will come and that will wipe out whole towns on the Oregon coasts.

It’s been an absolute time waste and incredibly frustrating experience to deal with this bank.
