The main items depend on the age of the house but typically include; Electrical- non-functional GFCI, double tapped breakers, missing knockouts on the main panel, missing electrical boxes and or covers, open-air splices.

However, it is a 1" concrete facade on a Michigan basement that is beginning to show some age. 

You will also find a pretty decent percentage of these vacation home owners are getting up in age and no longer make as many trips nor are as interested.

Sometimes, if you plan to put a newer used mobile home on a piece of land or lot there may be restrictions (i.e. size, age, condition, etc) depending on the city and/or county.

however for one living in CA I do like Vegas personally ( I have invested there) as I have invested in over 20 states.. what I like about Vegas is the age of the homes you would buy at 500 to 1 mil.. no really nasty weather that adds to differed maintenance..
