I have been reading up on all the requirements and plan on being super cautious in investments while avoiding self dealing and working with disqualified individuals.

When I checked out Google Vacation Rentals when it first came out, the data was not super accurate, so I'm hoping they keep building out that aspect! 

Yeah, service animals are required to be allowed and people sneak pooches in sometimes.We allow dogs so it isn't an issue but I wonder if there is way to disallow all animals to support the super allergic folks.

The rest is super easy.I won’t minimize the importance of vetting the property.

Also, properties on the lake cost 3-4x per SF and have a major downside for Dec 1 - April 1 or so: they see a giant mud bowl out the window because the lake is drained.

In 10 years you won't regret any of this but starting is super hard.
