Let them know despite repeated attempts to collect the money, it is not forthcoming and that you will be starting the eviction process for non-payment of rent...then hire an attorney who specializes in evictions and get the process started.

Maybe if you lived in one for two years and rented the other, you could sell the primary, exclude gains, move into the rental and repeat two years later.

As soon as I got it back they said they do not lend on STR that have less then a year experience, which is what I had repeatedly asked.

Would it negativly affect my mortgage, or do I need to notify my lender at all to build the second home on the lot and then figure out the lot split later if it's necessary for renting or selling the new or original home? 

The underlying metrics were so different then and it does affect cash flow and profitability.

It's going to be interesting to see how slightly lower rates affect the fall.

I would not say that this is extremely dangerous for foreigners but can really affect your life or business.
