@Alex S.My last Air-BnB use had a good mattress and headboard, but the plywood under the mattress was held up by cement blocks.It slept fine, but in leaving the house and packing those lost socks, many things revealed themselves!

Rather than paying $6k for a new driveway, oftentimes you can just get a cement cone grinder wheel on a 4" grinder and grind down the lip and problem solved for cheap.Just some thoughts on the most common things.

I did the demo but he did the cement board install and prep, tub install, tiling, and shower plumbing and install.  

Even if the occupants destroy the inside, pour cement down the drain, etc., we still won't be in the hole because the margins are so large.

I got a letter tell me to move my car off my lawn (no grass), yet the next door neighbor cemented her whole front yard.

We have also discussed adding further cement over protrusions so that they are more sloped [less dangerous] and then adding a bit of dirt over. 

He recommended "cleaning the main sewer, chiseling out cement, to remove vent plate for access into main".

The place was a huge mess and I did take their security deposit which was not enough to cover all the repairs, but at least no cement down the drain or intentional damage to the property. 

They are generally placed on cement block piers and have tie-down straps that are put 4-6 ft into the ground.

I wonder if it will feel too cold on your feet in our climate if i just put the vinyl planks on the cement.
