Talk to your town about adding a legal suite. 

If I hired an attorney every time a person threatened a law suit or to seek legal representation, I might as well have one on retainer as it happens a lot.  

For a while she had a house with a rental suite and rented it out for extra income. 

If your deposit does cover all the money they are claiming you are probably SOL.Tenants with pets must be prepared to pay for the luxury of having animals.

You should also have some focus on fun time, or relaxed time whichever suits your personality better.

So, a couple of months after the suit was started the  buyer said "heck with it" (or "bananas" if you don't care for cursing) and stopped paying the mortgage. 

Once you answer all these, then you can start looking at what markets suit those goals.

(For context, we are in the luxury market and the guests are very demanding - they want lots of communication, concierge etc.. and maintenance, lawn care, gardening etc is time consuming.. so there’s a big job beyond just brokering and managing managing funds)

@Summer Dechanukul If your agent really represented that the home was in good working condition and actually told you that you didn’t need an inspection to verify, you should report him to his broker and file a complaint with the state real estate board, maybe talk to an attorney about a civil suit for damages against the agent and broker if they misled you.

Is it allowable for an unlicensed “property finder” (unconnected to any brokerage) to charge tenants large commissions to find them luxury homes to rent?
