Traveling nurses, recent transplants, home shoppers, etc. 

So you cant live with mom and dad or live rent free and then count rental income in excess of offsetting the new PITI.

I am always available and looking to meet fellow transplants as well.  

I currently live rent free and would like to do that in my new property as well but the Chelsea market is so expensive right now I would not be able to so I'm wondering what areas in MA you think are good investment where multi-families are still affordable but it would still be a good long term investment.

What a long post...I am in Macae, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the first time in 9 years after the 2008 Collapse of the US Economy, Hep C and the new cure, almost dying from the tumor on my liver that showed up four years later and was not discovered by all my Primary Physicians, my Oncologist sitting on my bed when they were pulling the tubes out of my throat to see if I was waking up as a vegetable...the only thing she said was, "you need to get your affairs in order...you have three years to live."

I would be happy to break even(live rent free) given the market.

So you can potentially rent out up to 3 units and take profit from those, apply that to your mortgage and potentially live rent free.

I had friends who needed a place to live and I could live rent free and cash flow.
