I had a house that we got under contract, and which was hit by hail during the contract period.

They run about $210/month for $250k of coverage with a 3k deductible.I had a claim on my last property due to a hail storm, and they were ok to work with.

A standard (DP-1) policy basically covers wind/hail/and fire and not much else.In my experience, sewer backup is tough to find in a policy.  

IF you have any hail it is a bad choice.

Is it normal to have to get 3 separate quotes for home, wind/hail, and flood that area?
