@Simon Martinez, I believe you are describing the Section 121 exclusion, which allows for an exclusion of up to $250,000 of capital gains on a taxpayer's primary residence ($500,000 for married couples filing jointly).

One thing people don't understand is that before they do any type of marketing they need to know how people think and feel, and then they will know what list to mail, what postcard to send, and what to say when they pick up the phone to talk to them (which in my opinion is why many wholesalers fail, they fail to make the call so they will fail because it's all about the call).I'm not against the real estate gurus out there, I've learned a lot from them and I've made a lot of money because of taking action with the information they gave me, but I think the real people we need to be learning from are people like Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins, Simon Sinek, Gary Vaynerchuk.
