The only times I use hotels are when there are no STRs where I want to go.....I.E. the Vegas Strip, downtown Phoenix within walking distance to the sports venues, etc.....Or when we want to go to a true 'resort' during the summer.

Dripping Springs area is another one I would consider, its pretty close to the city and is jam packed with activities/venues that are perfect for a 2-3 day weekend stay

Any ideas on good cash flow areas around the lake with venues near by?

Generally speaking, at least in my own jurisdiction, one may proceed to collection through a number of limited venues; Writs of Fieri Facias, Wage Garnishments, Bank Garnishments, till collections, etc.

It is also right next to an international competition venue, so there is also potential to rent house and horse stalls to competitors.

I've narrowed it down to a couple of venues and I should be deciding here soon.
