So I have an llc and business account set up for that llc, but I just bought a duplex with an fha loan which isn't in the llc because I couldn't get fha approved for the llc.

Usually all deals form an LLC and add all the investors as members of the LLC.

Utilize the most efficient form of entities, Series LLC instead of individual LLCs, LLC instead of corporation (you can elect to have LLC TAXED as a corporation if that is desirable), LLC instead of limited partnership (eliminates the need for a separate entity to be created as general partner).  

I'm guessing the way to do it would be by opening up an llc, and going through there.

It's still used as a rental and my LLC is a single member.
