Hey everyone,A few of my partners and I are looking at buying duplexes with cash in the Cleveland area, fixing them up, renting them out, and refinancing them in 6 months. 

Could you please suggest me how much insurance is required? Do I take commercial policy or will it be home rented to others

Any inputs are appreciated and any preferred insurance providers

In my rentals in Cleveland I have tenants that are not on Section 8 but please believe that as each tenants is leaving I am ONLY replacing them with Section 8 tenants.Don't worry too much about the neighborhood Clarence because you are not living there.

@Chris Nelson  I grew up in the Midwest (WI) and now invest in Cleveland.  

Move that person from a Cleveland city zip code to a Columbus city zip code and the cost of the policy could be almost double - but with the overall higher cost in that area the relative difference between the lower coverage and higher coverage would still be very minimal. 

Hello I'm researching the Cleveland suburbs to invest in rental properties and read a Biggerpockets forum on property tax, and although there are some comments on the issue, I'm still unclear whether investors will pay a higher property tax than owners occupying properties (as it happens in Florida where I have 2 properties).
