You're attempting to create interest in the sale, rather than chilling it, which can only benefit the borrower and subordinate lien holders, since they and not you would receive any amounts over and above what's owed on your lien.

Each situation is different, but CC debt gives me chills and there are so many upsides to paying down that kind of debt.

That might be the utterly passive route I am looking for, and it might not.

But a lot of people just like to rent cabins and chill out.

@Douglas Graves The point is that no one should be so hopelessly dependent on one thing that they are screwed utterly when that thing vanishes.

In a perhaps anecdotal way, HGTV and the like seem to be featuring all manner of flipping shows these days, which gives me the chills like it's 2007 all over again, when the exact same thing was happening, i.e. everyone getting on the flipping bandwagon. 

In other words, I want to chill out and clear my head for a while.

They just seem to be more chill.
