I was hoping to tap into the local knowledge and expertise of this esteemed group, and inquire if anyone here has any personal experience or market insight regarding medium-term rentals in the Triangle area.

@Mariel Painter-ChapmanI prefer number 3 as it is the closest to a triangle (fridge, sink, stove, being the points of a triangle).

.  :-)  Also, we're planning on adding a little plywood insert in that triangle on the overhang above the door, which we will also shingle. 

I've lived in North Carolina for 30 years and been investing here for the last 3, and Triangle is by far my favorite metro in NC.

If you're in tech, I'd go hard after the Research Triangle Park area(low liquidity for MFs but you can buy a SFH and rent by room) and I'd target Austin for sure. 

Durham and the triangle is booming I wouldn’t say it’s over saturated. 20-30 people move here each day.

Given triangle area seems to be a great real estate market, I would also love to start looking here.

I am a local real estate agent, I have helped lots of investor clients and have some insight into our market having lived in the Triangle for 17 years.Wake Forest is a great area, with lots of good school options, and lots of growth happening, just like the entire Triangle area. 

In the Golden Triangle, you'll pay up to €5,000+ per sq m for a villa because that's where wealthy Portuguese and foreigners, including celebrities, want to be.
