After driving through the back alley, the back unit has been tagged and needs a paint job, as well as security lighting and maybe a spray-paint-resistant coating?

I would like to gather as much info as possible before I make the phone call to Freddie Mac@Craig BrouilletteI am expecting a lot of resistance from Freddie Mac.

Here is what I found out:1) The sale of a home 'resets' the compliance timeline 2) They are very interested in working with a new owner to get a home compliant, and they are not interested in chasing down any other 'unpermitted' work done by the seller3) Common sticking points he identified:-Complying with the off street parking requirement (this home has enough parking)-Providing adequate egress from the bedroom in case of fire (this home meets the 'size' requirement for the bedroom window, only remaining concern is there is a 6-8' drop to ground level)-5/8's inch fire resistant material would be required for the ceilingThis is in line with what I was budgeting for... 

The path of least resistance seems through a couple of flips to move in that direction.Where in FL are you investing?  

The interlocking is waterproof versus the vinyl plank you stick on is water resistant and can come up later the corners etc.

But who knows, I might get an offer I can't resist when I test the market. :)

.- On top of all this, the city kept adding things to the TO-DO list: changing out the panels on the covered patio to a type of fire-resistant material, having to build a retaining wall separating our property from the neighbors lot, re-grading the front and back yards, clearing weeds and shrubs from the adjacent lot (not our property btw but we did it because it made our property look bad).

It's a little pricey, but it is water resistant and very durable.

The second wholesaler made $5k on a lousy, decrepit, two family house that I couldn't resist picking up for $12k.
