Mother in law suites shrink your buyers pool - a great asset for someone that is looking for that specific feature  - a deterrent to the other 95% of folk that would prefer not to have it.

My wife recently had to move her Mother to a nursing care facility and we now have the family property we are looking to rent (title already in my wife's name).

Unfortunately I have to give the credit for my name to my mother and the epidural's lingering effects 

We went to the property and observed what was going on, talked to the mother and expressed our need for her to supervise her children.

Recently I had a run-in with one of my worst fears a couple months back, i went to check my bank account to see how much money I had so that I could buy my mother and brother dinner.

My mother and I, partnered up to do this together and we started sending out offers last week.

Fast forward a month and you see a mother holding her beautiful baby.People have a hard time seeing what will be, they are here and now. 

@Dakota Mivshek you will running into problems with the downpayment funds being lent by your mother.  

So this guys wife lived in this home for 20 years and his mother inlaw never had any issues with the home.   

I do, however, have a full time job as a RN along with being a full time single mother but I am determined to make this work.
