I have a couple of friends who have gone all in on RE investing, and seeing their success (as well as listening to my father's - and my wife's - consistent instigations) has prompted me to take a closer look and try to learn more. 

For the last 14 years I've been renting from my father, November of this year that will change. 

My own father told me not to do it because it was too risky.

I know he has taken loans from his dad (my father-in-law) in the past and has paid them back, but I haven't seen how he handles adversity if a project goes sideways.

When I graduated college my father was into comm'l real estate and was a licensed broker and he taught me a little bit.The main thing to do is to educate yourself and once you decide what you want to do, focus on that style you pick out 1 or 2 areas and make sure you know them well. 

Another factor that we re considering is good elementary school district area and not father than 25mins to NPC in millington.

My father committed suicide 6 years ago and his suicide notes reference Equity Build and the associated Ponzi scheme.
