Makes another call to his ultra-marvelous-Realtor, asks her a few questions about things she has updated him on umpteen times, and says "oh, sorry for the last 60 seconds or so, I wasn't listening" so he makes her repeat herself, for his own sick entertainment.

Adults should be allowed to take out any type of loan they like.The more insidious loans were the teaser rate loans, where the lenders would advertise a $200,000 loan for $750 per month or something ridiculous like that.

We moved to florida from western NC and bought a house while still trying to sell our old house in NC...Well, it isnt selling.We have been paying both mortgages for several months now, and are bleeding money every month.It is too expensive, we cannot afford to continue doing this.So, we are entertaining lease options.We got an offer of 900 month rent, with 3500 down on 18month term.Our mortgage is 1600 a month as we paid 240K for the house only a couple of years ago.So this will not nearly cover our monthly expenses.

Oil and natural gas are biggies here--but we've also been blessed by major downtown development: a new NBA franchise, a convention/restaurant/entertainment hub around our new Riverwalk, a new and expanding Dell facilitiy, Tinker Air Force Base, etc.
