I grew up in Merrillville and was there for 20 some years before moving to central IL.

I'm assuming its a no-brainier.One other thing....I'm not interested in investing in war zones or section 8 but I would considered the city of albany which is where I grew up ans has cheaper properties.

Well I'm originally from Oregon...grew up there and then moved to SoCal the last 8 years before moving to Vegas..so I guess Cali got me spoiled!

We have been thinking Colorado because we grew up there and it is a place we will always go back to often.
