I've found their fee structure to be simple and inexpensive (VRBO, on the other hand, had undisclosed fees that pissed me right off), and the interface is VASTLY simpler to use.

I've had experience hosting with Airbnb, I think anyone that wants to expand into multiple Airbnbs (more than 5 spread out across more than once neighborhood) should just invest into multifamily housing, there is a tipping point when it's just not worth running all those liabilities instead of just putting it all under one umbrella like a hotel or multifamily vacation rental. it would be like trying to assemble a bunch of Uber cars under one hat, at some point just start a rental agency or livery service. you can only piggy back on the Airbnb messaging/marketing interface for so long before the liability you're taking on makes it financially unfeasiblebut I haven't really done out the numbers so I could be wrong

.- site interface hasnt been updated in years. the menuing is old style, - no client side (e.g. jquery) interaction to make data entry easier on the user to enter data. everything seems to be server side - enter 5 fields, hit submit and wait, etc.- the accounting side is bad and needs an overhaul as well - hard to find the reports, they default to 90 day reports, etc.I have watched the training videos, but quite frankly i have used a lot of different web based systems, and I shouldnt have to watch videos to figure the system out (IMHO).S

It does not have the bells and whistles of the paid services, but it allows us to interface with our tenants the way we want to and manage our accounting and maintenance requests at a level that was not available (or user-friendly enough) from any of the 3rd part vendors I've reviewed.From the various online software we've demo'd within the past year, we were close to going with Buildium or RentecDirect but ultimately decided something proprietary would serve us better long-term.
