My wife was going to spend that night there with my son to clean up and be ready for when the movers get there.

You can be nasty and threaten to have him arrested on day 31 or be nice and offer to pay for a mover to get him motivated.

I've heard these stories from credible sources for decades (one occured on my street a few years ago): A moving van pulls up in front of a house in the middle of the day and movers in uniform load the contents of the house on to the van.

The sheriff instructs the movers to place the evicted tenants property just outside of the dwelling but not off the property because of a long driveway.

My lawyer seems to be doing most of the work; he has filed the eviction, gotten the writ of restitution, hired the movers and the sheriff.

Also, the board members for these non-profits are usually pretty well connected and could be a great way to meet some movers and shakers in different industries. 

I paid $800 and hired movers and it was still cheaper than getting a lawyer.
