Purpose is good for both business and the soul - never forget that.    

I can tell you that every job I've held since college has been soul-crushing and not related to my degree at all.Speaking of degrees, I noticed you said engineering wasn't what you thought it would be.

And from the gains they, out of the kindness of their soul, want to gift me $ 100k.

I bought a block of 70 rental homes in one purchase and from the day of my initial walk through to the day I sold the last property,not a single soul knew I was the owner.  

The souls with a weaker "why" or less internal strength will most likely fail even with the best mentoring. 

After much soul-searching and at the blessing of a friend that already lived in Henderson, we found our "way out". 

So far, I have considered Dallas, Oklahoma City and Indianapolis.To those brave souls, who have gone the turn key route, how was the experience?

I wouldn't hire me either because I'm struggling with being a cog in the wheel, preparing reports that nobody looks at, attending meetings that make me wish for death, a commute that rips out my soul and no ability to really care about the bottom line of a multi million dollar company.When an interviewer asks me where I want to be in five years, all I can think of is either the beach or a motorcycle trip through Europe.  

However, as someone who does give out a lot of advice in the Portland area I'll tell you that it feels good to help out an energetic soul looking to change their lives and invest the right way.

sorry you are going through this. i have said it before and will say it again... i dont know how people buy out of state. they must be super brave souls.
