@Cassandra Boyett   I like the idea ( if you can do it and it worked for you and family) of buying a 4 plex with one of your loan slots as owner occ... live there for a period of time then move on.. leaving the 4 plex as a rental.. great cash flow close to home so you can keep an eye on it..

Next they'll create a sense of urgency saying there are only a few slots available and just because you apply, doesn't mean you will be selected.

A lot of people in this area will rent out their properties at certain times of the year (PGA tournaments) for additional income. 

Yes, my 401k doesn't send me a check every month, but it returns 6.5% annually and will pay out like a slot machine in my retirement.

Keep in mind title companies have recording slots in the big counties..

Let me put it to you this way, in Las Vegas you can chose to gamble on many different slot machines, all of which the casino keeps a percentage of every dollar poured into the machine. 

And yes, I agree with you absolutely one lease thought I won't be allowing people to 'assign' their slot on a lease without applying through me first.
