Considering the circumstances, it is my new routine to say a serenity prayer every day to help me focus and mentally let go of that which I cannot influence or change.

We routinely list our properties for 2 people per bedroom, plus 2 more, even when we have 2 pullout sofa beds.

I routinely make offers on properties that have been sitting for 3-6 months at 50-70% of list price, and it's not uncommon that I'll at least get a counter-offer from the bank.So, consider how many days the property has been on market before you start to think about what the bank may or may not settle for.
